Buba Galadima, the spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential campaign organisation, has unravelled how the All Progressives Congress, APC, are able to gather mammoth crowd during President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign rallies.
He alleged that local governments were paid between N20m to N40m to purchase people to attend Buhari’s campaign rallies.
Galadima said the large group so far seen at some rallies of the president were all charades, adding that people were paid to attend the campaign rallies of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Featuring on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Galadima said, “Every campaign that Buhari goes to in an APC-controlled state, local governments are empowered with twenty to forty-five million Naira to purchase people and bring them to these rallies, and suddenly Buhari starts addressing the crowd and they all disappear because they must fulfil the contract for which they were brought in.
“One Local Government rally by Kwankwaso is more than the global rally that was organised for Buhari after spending nearly one billion Naira.”
