The PDP National Youth Movement, an umbrella body of PDP youth Associations in Nigeria says it is committed to its mandate of galvanizing youths for socio-political and economic development of the Country.
The state chapter of the Association led by its Coordinator Comrade Obed Asiegbu stated this when he led a delegation of the Association on a courtesy visit to the state Chairman of PDP Chief Asiforo Okere at the party secretariat, Finbars road, Umuahia , said,in addition, the association has the mandate to supporting all positive Youth related initiatives of government at all levels.
Comrade Asiegbu said that the delegation was in the party secretariat to intimate the party of its objectives as well as partner the the PDP at all levels in taking the message of hope and redemption to the grassroot.
The association through its State Coordinator restated the preparedness of the movement in mobilizing the youths ahead of the 2023 general elections and lauded the Chairman Chief Alwell Asiforo Okere for the innovations he is bringing into the party.
Receiving the delegation in his office, the state Chairman PDP Chief Alwell Asiforo Okere commended the youth movement for championing the cause of the party through galvanizing the youths ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He urged the association to see their assignment as a call for service which calls for Unity of purpose, and pleged to always support the policies and programmes of the association.
The DG Voters Education PDP National Youth Movement Comrade Uba Chiemezuo Anyanwu, South East Zonal Coordinator Voter’s Education Comrade Prosper Ejimofor Escalade, the DG Abia state Tourism Board and Coordinator Female Affairs Comrade Onyekachi Atuloma,a former Chairman Bende LGA Chief Gabriel Elendu, the state PDP Youth Leader Comrade Onwuka among other Executive members were present during the visit.
