Personal Physician to the Governor, Dr. Micheal Enyinnaya who is also in charge of coordinating these supplies and ensuring their distribution across hospitals in the state, described the gift as huge and will go a long way in boosting Medicare in the State.
Dr. Enyinnaya stated that this was the fifth time the State was receiving such supplies, free of charge, from Abians in the diaspora.
The supplies include High Resolution Ultra Sound Machines, Haemo Dialysis Machines, Equipment for resuscitation, Mobile Monitors, Ventilators, Different kinds of electric and manual beds, etc.
According to Dr. Enyinnaya, the cost of these items is in several tens and tens of millions.
