The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, is currently meeting behind closed door with the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, Director General of the Department of State Services, Lawal Daura and the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
This is coming after the Nigeria Police Force on Sunday invited Senate President, Bukola Saraki for questioning over his alleged involvement in the Offa bank robbery.
Meanwhile, Saraki on Monday disclosed his intention to honour the police invitation extended to him. He added that he has informed his ADC to get the letter of invitation from the police.
The reason for the meeting was still unclear as at press time, but may not be unconnected with the Offa robbery case being investigated by the police.
