CLEANUP EXERCISE: Ikpeazu Appreciates Abia Youths For Taking Part (Video, Photos)

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has expressed appreciation to Abia youths for participating in the cleanup exercise on Tuesday.

Ikpeazu, on his verified Twitter handle, said he was “glad that the youths heeded my clarion call and came out en masse to participate in the exercise.”

The Governor recalled that he had, on Monday, called on Abia youths to come out & help in cleaning up parts of the State heavily littered by hoodlums who, sadly, hijacked the #EndSARS protest.

He prayed God to bless Abia youths.

Ikpeazu twitted: “Yesterday, I called on Abia youths to come out & help in cleaning up parts of the State heavily littered by hoodlums who, sadly, hijacked the #EndSARS protest. I’m glad that the youths heeded my clarion call and came out en masse to participate in the exercise. God bless you all.”

ABIA ONLINE gathered that aftermath of the stakeholders meeting convened by Governor Ikpeazu, he called for massive cleaning up exercise in Aba and Umuahia to enable them remove all the debris that littered on the streets as a result of the hijacking of the #EndSARS protests by hoodlums.
He had equally declared Tuesday a public holiday to enable full participation.
