EACH ONE AID ONE FOUNDATION REACHES UMUAHIA NORTH WITH PROJECT 1000 (See Photos)

Project 1000, the free JAMB registration Project of the Each One Aid One Foundation where the Foundation intends to register 1000 indigent students of Abia origin has reached Umuahia North Local Government Area.

Over two hundred potential candidates including students and those already through with secondary school gathered at the Council headquarters, venue of the programme to take part in the free registration.

The Coordinator, Each One Aid One Foundation’s Project 1000, Mr. Smith John, who addressed the gathering before capturing them in the free programme, informed them that the Project was the Foundation’s contribution to the education development of the indigent students from Abia State.

Mr. Smith disclosed that the Foundation would offset the total cost of JAMB registration, CBT charges as well as pay their transportation fairs to the designated CBT centre noting that the only contribution from them was to ensure that they study hard in other to pass their examination.

He equally explained that anyone who gained admission in any Nigerian University would have the opportunity to apply for the Foundation’s scholarship scheme, insisting that the process was transparent and fair to everyone one as there was no preferencial treatment.

A cross section of beneficiaries were overwhelmed with joy to be among the partakers of the free gift. Some of them who spoke to ABIA ONLINE are Nwaoha Solomon Nkwachukwu, Emmanuel Olivia chidera, Vanessa Chidinma Emmanuel, Isaac Chibueze Samuel of Government College Umuahia,Everistus Kelechi Okereke, an SS3 student of Ibeku hlHig School, Umuahia as well as Odokara Ambless.

They thanked God for using the Foundation to give them another hope of University education and lauded the Founder, Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor while praying for more blessings upon him.

The beneficiaries pledged to work hard to pass their examination as a way to reciprocate the kind gesture.

ABIA ONLINE gathered that more than 50 candidates were attended to in the Local Government with the data captured, identification card issued as well as distribution of their transportation fair to the CBT centre.
