EASTER GIFT: MRS. IKPEAZU HANDS OVER 3 HOUSES TO INDIGENT ABIANS

The wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, has continued in her usual manner, built and handed over 3 bedroom flats each to indigenes of Abia State.

Handing over the keys to the beneficiaries, Mrs. Ikpeazu stated that it is only wise to provide shelter for Abians who may not be able to afford a very comfortable one especially this period of time when the world is going through a pandemic, Covid-19, which has restricted people to their homes.

She used the opportunity to advise the people to always adhere to instructions from certified health professionals during this pandemic, urging them to also be prayerful and maintain social distancing as advised.

The Abia first lady insisted that she was not only an advocate of safety against the covid-19 pandemic, but also committed to leading by example, hence her hurry to get home and remain compliant with all parameters the government has put in place.

Responding, one of the beneficiaries appreciated Mrs. Ikpeazu for her devotion to humanitarian causes, evident in her coming over in person to hand over the house keys and prayed God to continue to keep her safe.

ABIA ONLINE reports that Mrs. Ikpeazu, being conscious of the sit at home order, set out early on Easter Sunday morning to hand over the houses without her entourage, maintaining social distancing as well as observing the basic safety measures in the fight against covid-19.
