I HAVE KEPT FAITH WITH MY MANDATE AND LAID A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR THE ABIA RENAISSANCE ~IKPEAZU

Okezie Ikpeazu, PhD, Governor of Abia State says he has faithfully kept faith with the mandate given to him by the people of Abia State and has laid a very solid foundation for the renaissance of the state.
Governor Ikpeazu made this statement this evening at Owerri at a special interactive town hall meeting organized by Abia indigenes resident in Imo State.
He told the gathering that the biggest challenge facing the state when he assumed office was that of broken infrastructure across the state. This situation impacted negatively on the productive and enterprising powers of our people.
But today, he continued, the story has changed for good as his government has invested massively in infrastructure leading to a huge turnaround in the fortunes of our people. Aba, the commercial nerve center of the state has been substantially renewed in terms of roads rehabilitation. Same goes for Umuahia and other major towns in the state.
Charging our people in Imo to also think home and take advantage of the favorable investment climate in the state now, he assured them that security has been fully restored in Abia noting that since his assumption of office, no single incidence of bank robbery has been recorded in the state while kidnapping has been reduced to the barest minimum as a result of the strategic reordering of the security architecture in the state in collaboration with all security agencies operating in the state.
He assured them that more roads will be fixed across the state while His MADE IN ABA CAMPAIGN will gather more momentum going forward.
The session was highly interactive as the Governor took questions from our people living in Imo on a wide range of issues.
