Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford has sent a clear message to the club’s fans that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will do their best to get all three points against Manchester United in tonight’s Premier League derby.
Man United will this night tackle Pep Guardiola’s men at Old Trafford but Rashford has urged the Red Devils’ fans to be emotionally attached during the game.
United head to the game following a 4-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park last weekend.
“United versus City and United versus Liverpool mean the most to every United player and every United fan,” Rashford told United Review.
“But, as a player, you have to understand that every game in the league is for three points and, whether you’re playing against Everton or Chelsea, they all have the exact same importance as when you play City or Liverpool. It’s the emotions which are a bit different.”
Rashford added: “I know the fans are always emotionally attached to this game, like we are, and I’d just say always keep that feeling and we’ll do our best to get the three points.”
