Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has announced the delivery of a ‘special broadcast’ on the state of the Nigerian nation on January 1, 2019.
This was made known in a terse statement yesterday by Mr. Emeka Gift, Director of IPOB Family Writers, an online news platform of the pro-Biafra group.
He said: “Information from the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has confirmed that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will deliver an ‘all-important’ new year message to millions of Biafrans all over the world on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
“The new year special broadcast will commence at exactly 6 pm Biafra time.”
DAILY POST reports that since Kanu resurfaced in October after a year of hiding sequel to the invasion of his Afara-Ukwu hometown in Abia state by the military, he has been addressing his followers on the issues affecting Nigeria through live broadcasts on pirate radio station, Radio Biafra, each weekend.
He has been alleging that President Muhammadu Buhari is ‘dead’ and has been replaced by a stage play actor from Sudan, whose real identity is Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani.
