Real Madrid president, Floretino Perez, granted Zinedine Zidane three demands to ensure his return, AS reports.
Zidane left the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of last season, after winning the Champions League for a third consecutive year.
The Frenchman is said to have demanded that the squad be considerably strengthened in the summer, with three superstar signings expected among other squad additions.
The likes of Kylian Mbappe, Eden Hazard and Sadio Mane, are all believed to be under consideration from the European champions.
Perez has also reportedly agreed to give Zidane power over on-field matters.
No decision on incomings and departures will be made without the Frenchman’s approval, while he expects the backing of the board with his decisions.
It is also claimed Zidane wanted an improved salary to recognise his importance to the club. His new contract is believed to take him closer to that of the likes of Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone.
