Galatians 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

In 2014, Abia PDP conducted primaries and announced Dr Okezie Ikpeazu as the winner.
A then aspirant Uche Ogah in response rushed to a Federal High Court in Abuja to launch a legal challenge against the party and Dr Ikpeazu. He claimed Governor Ikpeazu did not pay his tax, presented forged tax documents and asked the court to disqualify Dr Ikpeazu and declare him (Ogah) winner of the primaries and swear him in as Governor.
The Abuja High Court, presided by Justice Okon Abang, granted the prayers of Ogah and directed INEC to issue him a Certificate of Return. In response, Governor Ikpeazu appealed the judgement and asked INEC to stay execution of the judgement pending determination of his appeal.
Lawrence Nwuruku of INEC refused to wait for the appeal to be determined and issued a Certificate of Return to Uche who in turn boarded a flight to UMUAHIA to take over Government House on the basis of the ruling of the High Court.
When reminded that Dr Ikpeazu has appealed the judgement and that should serve as a stay order, Uche Ogah responded through his lawyer who doubled then as his spokesman, Monday Ubani, arguing that the notice of appeal filed by Ikpeazu did not operate as an order for a stay of proceedings.
Ubani said, “Note also that the appeal of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu before the Court of Appeal does not operate as a stay over the judgment of Justice Okon Abang.
That was how Abia entered a protracted political crises period that only ended in April 2018 with the Supreme Court dismissing the last of the 3 petitions against the Governor.
Recall that Barr F N Nwosu who also lost during the PDP primaries of 2014 also sued. Alex Otti who saw this as an opportunity also joined the legal rigmarole up to the Supreme Court even when he was not involved in the PDP primaries. The Supreme Court had no choice but to declare Otti a “meddlesome interloper” as a reward for his political desperation and asked him to pay compensation to Governor Ikpeazu for his desperate meddling in what does not concern him.
…Fast Forward…
Uche Ogah joined APC in April 2017 and was welcomed by Ikechi Emenike and other members of the party in the state. Emenike’s relationship with APC pre-dates 2015 presidential election and he is said to have staunchly supported President Buhari and provided a campaign office for him in Abuja. After the president won, Emenike nominated his wife to serve as Ambassador and she is still serving till date.
After Uche Ogah joined APC, he teamed up with another former PDP member, Orji Uzor Kalu, who also decamped to APC after Buhari became President. Both men were welcomed by Emenike and other old members of the party. Somehow the two men and other former PDP members tried to take over the party structures in the state and the matter ended up in court.
A High Court in Abia State ruled in favor of Ikechi Emenike’s faction last year, recognizing his executive faction as the authentic one, and they conducted primaries that produced Ikechi Emenike as Governorship candidate.
The Orji Uzor-Uche Ogah faction also conducted primaries in disregard of the subsisting order of court and announced Uche Ogah as their own candidate.
When Adams Oshiomhole announced Ogah as the candidate of the party, Emenike rushed to an Abuja High Court to obtain an order confirming him as the authentic candidate having been produced by the legally recognized party executives in the state. The Abuja High Court then directed INEC to recognize Emenike as APC candidate.
INEC and APC Abuja refused to obey the directive, unlike in 2016 when Lawrence Nwuruku rushed to issue a Certificate of Return to Ogah, ostensibly on the basis of an Abuja High Court ruling.
Karma
Uche Ogah has since started the process of appealing the current High Court decision ousting him but unlike in 2016 his lawyer is now telling the world that the appeal they process they launched should serve as an order for stay of execution, a position the same man poo pooed in 2016.
The Ogah camp is now telling whoever cares to listen that Emenike is being sponsored by Abia PDP to distract and destabilize Uche Ogah and APC even while in same breathe they are claiming that Emenike has always been that way since his ANPP days.
Laughable!
Abia PDP, led by Governor Ikpeazu, is not interested in the internal crises of APC or any other party for that matter, which is clearly stemming from the attempt by new recruits to forcefully take over the parties without considering the feelings of those who built the party and have remained loyal to it till date. It is laughable for anyone to allege that Abia PDP or the state government is sponsoring Emenike’s faction whereas we are preparing to defeat whoever is placed in front of us as APC, APGA or even a combination of both parties’ factional candidates.
Governor Ikpeazu’s great performance makes it impossible for him to be defeated by anyone in the state.
It is also interesting that Ogah’s camp is talking about distraction and destabilization. I thought they said in 2016 that Governor Ikpeazu could not have been distracted or destabilized during the pendency of the multiplicity of court cases against him because he was not the one appearing in court personally. Is Ogah now the one appearing in court?
Hahahahahahaha!
O metara buru is real o!
Sincerely the word of God is real at all times: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”.-Galatians 6:7
To also understand what is happening to the factional APGA candidate in Abia State, Alex Otti, who in his political desperation went as far as attempting to sabotage the $100m AfDB facility meant for Abia roads, read one of Governor Ikpeazu’s prayer points as captured in 2Timothy 4:14-15 (NLT)
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm, but the Lord will judge him for what he has done. 15 Be careful of him, for he fought against everything we said.
Opposition parties in Abia State should leave PDP alone and face their internal crises of leadership. If and when they resolve their issues they should simply present Governor Ikpeazu with someone to defeat on the 2nd of March 2019.
For now, let’s celebrate the OUTSTANDING GOVERNOR OF 2018, Dr Okezie Victor Chibuikem Ikpeazu.
Congratulations, Okezuo Abia onye nmeri.
