It is the concern of Each One Aid One Foundation to celebrate this year’s Easter with Civil Servants in Abia State Civil Service especially the junior staff – message sent in by the Founder, Engr. Nwafor Enyinnaya.
Coordinators of the Foundation, Prince A. A. Abu and Mr. Smith Chukwuma John made the disclosure while handing over food items from Each One Aid One Foundation to more Ministeries in the Abia State Civil Service.
According to them, the Founder, Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor wants to put smiles on the faces of Abia State workers as they mark the Easter celebration, maintaining that the gesture is in line with the aim of the Foundation which centers on Education, Heath and Economic Empowerment of people.
While informing that Each One Aid One Foundation has been in the business of philanthropy with varying programmes, they identified them as medical outreaches, registration of JAMB UTME for more 1500 students, distribution of umbrellas and cash for petty traders as well distribution of food items to staff of the 17 Local Government Areas in the State among others.
Receiving the items which included: ten bags of Rice, ten cartons of tomatoes, bags of onions and salt as well as a cow for each Ministry, representatives of the Ministeries, thanked the Foundation for remembering them.
While describing the gesture as first of its kind where an NGO would singlehandedly donate such items for workers, they called on other well meaning individuals and foundations to partner Government in celebrating her workers.
ABIA ONLINE reports that the Foundation visited eight Ministeries including Transport, Youth and Sports Development, Science and Technology, SME Development, Rural Development and Economic Planning as well as Head of Service and office of the SSG.
