Students in Ukwa East, Aba South, Aba North, and Isiala-Ngwa North LGAs have made the list of beneficiaries as Each One Aid One Foundation pushes for more LGAs in their ongoing annual Free Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) and CBT Registration programme captioned “Project 3000”.
“Project 3000” which implies the Foundation is seeking to register 3000 Abia youths, has already seen 9 local governments and hundreds of beneficiaries recorded.
Speaking to Abia Online at the various LGA headquarters where the exercise took place, the Programmes and Communication Manager for the Foundation, Mr. Smith Chukwuma John maintained the Foundation is on a mission to bring succour to families whose children wishes to further their education to the university level but are unable to provide them with the required financial backing to achieve this lofty aspirations.
Mr. Smith reiterated that the Founder of the Foundation, Engr. Sir. Enyinnaya Nwafor is poise and more committed to ensuring that as many Abia youths as possible across the 17 local governments of the State are registered for JAMB and BTC gratis through the “Project 3000” scheme. He added that Engr. Nwafor made provision for stipends to cover for each student’s transportation, explaining that it is to make certain that money for transportation will not form an obstacle that will prevent any aspiring candidates from benefiting from the opportunity the Foundation is offering.
In addition, he stressed that beneficiaries who will make their JAMBs and scale through Post-Utme will as well stands the chances of qualifying for the Foundation’s Scholarship Scheme for students in 2021 – fully funded by Engr. Nwafor Enyinnaya through the Foundation.
“We had top notch interactions with the students who applauded the Founder of Each One Aid One Foundation for Project 3000, promising to reciprocate the kind gesture by scaling through their UTME examinations,” he concluded.
