The Secretary to Abia State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem has commended the people of Ohiya Ukwu community in umuahia south local government Area for their unalloyed support for the present Administration ably led by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
Barr. Ezem who made the commendation when he received in audience a delegation from ohiya Ukwu community led by a former commissioner in the state Mr Longman Nwachukwu described ohiya as very strategic in the political map of Umuahia South local government and state assuring that all that is due to the community will be looked into with a view to tackling them.
The SSG called for more support for the present administration and charged all to obtain their PVC to enable them continue to exercise their franchise.
Speaking Earlier, the leader of the delegation and former commissioner in the state government, chief Longman Nwachukwu, said they came to appreciate the SSG Barr. Ezem for his proactive and pragmatic approach in complementing the laudable efforts of the Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu in taking the state to higher heights.
Also speaking ,the president general ohiya Ukwu community, Elder Raymond Ekwuruibe pledged their continuous support for the present administration.
He appealed for the creation of more electoral wards in the area.
