Good roads are essential pre-requisite to the economic and all-round development of a community/State. They are the arteries through which the economic and cultural/social life of the people flows. Prior to this clime, roads were constructed mainly from the administrative point of view, to maintain law and order and not much importance was attached to the planning and development of roads to foster economic growth of the State and the people. No wonder Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu decided to construct the Abiriba/Etitiama-Nkporo road due to its all-round contributions to the economy and development of the communities in the area and the State at large.
