The Abia State Independent Electoral Commission has directed all Ad hoc workers who participated in the December 21st, 2016 Local Government Elections to proceed to the Electoral Office in the respective Local Government Area where they worked for verification and documentation with a view to payment of the stipends at a date to be announced.
A release signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Mkpa Agu Mkpa, enjoined all concerned are to present the following:
(i) A valid identification card ( any National ID card, Permanent voters card or National drivers license, International Passport);
(ii) One Passport photograph with Name, Address and Phone number written at the back;
(iii) Copy of Application with Photocopies of Credentials submitted during the recruitment exercise;
(iv) Letter of Appointment issued (if any).
Mkpa said those involved are to complete the exercise between Monday, 12th October and Friday, 16th October 2020, from 8 am to 4 pm daily.
While the Commission regrets the prolonged delay in the processing and payment of the stipend to our valued Ad hoc workers, the release urged all concerned to cooperate with the Commission for a speedy and successful conclusion of this exercise.
