…says ‘Buhari Is The Sponsor Of Boko Haram And Fulani Herdsmen’

The Indigenous Youth Forum, IYF, has said that the release of captured Boko Haram terrorists and the bill that seeks the establishment of welfare agency for released terrorists, is a clear indication that the federal government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari is the sponsor of Boko Haram and killer herdsmen.

After the release of thousands of captured Boko Haram members who, according to the government, has repented, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, the former governor of Yobe State, who now represents the East Senate District of Yobe in the National Assembly, sponsored a bill that seeks to establish an agency to make life comfortable for freed Boko Haram terrorists.

In reaction to the development, IYF spokesman Bariledum Joseph, in an interview with Daily Time TV, described it as an injustice against those who lost their loved ones and their property as a result of the Islamic terrorist group’s activities.

He wondered why the federal government, which said it is determined to end Boko Haram and the insurgency in Nigeria, is now the one that encourages terrorists by freeing those captured and establishing a welfare agency for them.

“In other countries, the government tackles and prosecute terrorists, but here in Nigeria, the Muhammadu Buhari administration is aiding them. Now it is clear that this government is sponsoring Boko Haram and the Fulani herdsmen to kill Christians and those who do not share the same views with them,” Bariledum said.

Speaking about the welfare bill for ex- Boko Haram members, the IYF spokesperson said;

“Boko Haram now have a senator who represents them in the House of Assembly, and that very senator is Senator Ibrahim Gaidam because only a terrorist would think about sponsoring a bill for the establishment of a welfare agency for terrorists who have mutilated and killed innocent citizens.

“Ibrahim Gaidam is still walking free because he is from the North, but if it was someone from the South who sponsored the bill or even made a statement about it, the DSS would have invaded his house and arrest him.

“It is now necessary for all indigenous people in Nigeria to come together and negotiate the continued existence of Nigeria, or prepare ourselves to face the impending doom because we will not allow Fulani and other Islamic terrorists to overrun our people and ancestral land.”
