Following in the footsteps of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the distribution of palliative materials to citizens, the Chief Security Officer to the Governor, Sir Emeka Ubani has distributed palliatives materials to indigent individuals in his community Anunukwu, Obingwa Local Government Area.
The materials, which includes bags of Rice, face masks, hand sanitizers as well as cash gifts, were distributed to churches, women groups and nuclear families in the community.
Sir Ubani, who used the opportunity to sensitive his people on realities of the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic, charged them to observe the basic hygienic measures of constant hand washing, use of hand sanitizers as well as maintaining social distancing.
He equally insisted that they do not flout the stay at home directive of the State Government as the only way to break the chain of transmission of the virus.
Receiving the gift items, the excited churches and women groups thanked the CSO for his show of love at this period and prayed God to bless him the more.
