In continuation of the quest to take the fight against Covid-19 to the rural areas, Each One Aid One Foundation has donated medical supplies to all the 722 (Seven Hundred and Twenty-Two) Primary Health Care Centre of Abia State.

The items donated, which are for use by the Health Care Workers who are at the frontline in this fight include: cartons of hand gloves, cartons of nose masks, hand sanitizers as well as 1,000 bags of Rice.

The Foundation in statement noted that the fight against COVID-19 is not one that a person can win alone, hence their complimentary aid to what the Government of the day has already put in place.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Health Centres in ABIA State, at the Aba office of the Foundation, the Executive Secretary, Abia State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Chinagozi Adindu commended the Each One Aid One Foundation for their show of love at this critical time of a pandemic and called on other spirited individuals to help in complementing the effort of Government to contain the spread of the scourge.

In another development, the Each One Aid One Foundation has announced that their scheduled systematic sharing to the public of relief items which was earlier slated to kick off on Saturday has been put off till Monday 31st March 2020.

A release to that effect, which was made available to ABIA ONLINE, said the shift in date would enable the Foundation find a better way of dealing with the World Health Organization (WHO) standard of social distancing as crowd control at such events.
