The emergency response unit of Each One Aid One Foundation otherwise known as Each One Aid One Mobile Clinic has rescued one Miss Uzoamaka Christabel who was knocked down by an ‘Okada’ rider in Aba.
The victim, an eight year of pupil, who also lost her teeth in the accident, was immediately taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia for surgery which bill the Foundation would offset.
The Foundation, which recently took delivery of an ambulance for emergency cases such as the case of the little girl, has been in the news of late carrying out free medical Outreach in many Local Government Areas in Abia State.
Speaking to ABIA ONLINE on the new development, the Executive Director of the Foundation, Mrs. Freda Oluchi Uka informed that the Mobile Clinic was acquired to help them handle health emergency medical they encounter in the course of their medical outreaches within the State.
She maintained that Each One Aid One Foundation as Foundation wants to ensure that none of the health emergency victims dies due to transportation lack or immediate medical attention insisting that the delivery of the ambulance was done in order to complement Government effors in that regard.
