There is a great hope and opportunity for the hearing impaired persons in Abia State.
The Abia State Government through the State Ministry of Health in Partnership with Olusegun Obasanjo foundation is providing care to all hearing impaired/handicapped persons in the State.
To make hearing and education more accessible to those in need, the foundation has started the process of Assessment, Ear Screening, Fitting Assessment, Recounseling and Final quality control of persons with hearing impairment towards providing them with hearing kits that will make them to begin to hear properly.
Abia State is playing host as the centre for the exercise in the whole of South East, at the International Conference Center Ogurube Layout, Umuahia.
We hereby advice everyone with hearing challenges or anyone that knows anyone with such disability to make their way to the venue as the opportunity will only last till tomorrow.
