Katsina mourns as victims of bandits attack are buried

Eighteen victims of the Katsina bandits attack have been buried amid tears in the state.

Channels reports that the bodies of the victims were brought from the mortuary of the Katsina General Hospital to receive funeral prayer before the Katsina Emirate Council premises.

Leading the funeral prayer was the Chief Imam of the Katsina central mosque, Malam Mustapha Ahmad.

The burial was attended by hundreds of residents including village and district heads from within and outside the state.
