Today will be a red-letter day in the annals of God’s Own State, as our indefatigable Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu will conduct the ground breaking ceremony for the first flyover in Abia state; to be cited at Osisioma junction of Aba outskirts. This is a milestone for this government as it not a mere happenstance that this infrastructural landmark renaissance is taking place during Governor Ikpeazu’s era rather, a pointer to the fact that this administration has lofty plans and passion for Abia State.
The flyover when completed will end the seemingly intractable traffic hold-ups experienced in that environs.
It is noteworthy that the excruciating stress motorists encounter will be greatly ameliorated. This is one of the steps to reform Aba as well ensure the seamless movement of visitors and businessmen alike who patronize the major markets in the city. Recall that Aba cum Abia State has a proximity to almost all the States in the Southern and Eastern zones of the federation.
It is now glaring that in no distant time Aba will join the league of modern cities in Africa.
