Popular Broadcast Journalist and PDP faithful in Arochukwu Local Government Area, Mrs Francess “Tabitha” Ogbonnaya has described Arochukwu as One of the most gifted Local Government Areas in Nigeria with abundant human resources which must be harnessed.
Mrs Ogbonnaya stated this while briefing Newsmen about her Annual Free Media Training Programme, the third edition of which has been billed to take place in the Council Hall of Arochukwu Local Government Area.
“The Youths are a sector of the Country that must not be ignored, so the Rediscover Yourself Media Training has come to stay and like I had rightly stated, we are hosting this edition in Aro Okeigbo, we have had courses to change dates because of the Pandemic but thank God we are here now” She stated.
The Journalist thanked the House of Representative Member representing the Arochukwu Ohafia , Hon Uko Nwoke for offering to be one of the Sponsors of this year’s edition and also expressed gratitude to the Council boss, Mazi Jideofor Kanu for providing an enabling environment for such a programme.
Speaking on the impact of the programme, the Broadcast Journalist, who is also the CEO of Mandiba Media disclosed that this year’s program will dwell chiefly on Graphics Designing and Digital Marketing which will be facilitated by Google Nigeria.
“We will be announcing the dates and registration process soon, so I enjoin Arochukwu youths and even women to take advantage of this rare opportunity to acquire Media skills Free of Charge,” She added.
Mrs Ogbonnaya also seized the opportunity to call on the State Government and Party Leadership in the. Local Government to make sure that women and youths are properly represented in the upcoming Local Council dlection and to make skill acquisition programmes one of its cardinal promises
