People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Stakeholders from Arochukwu Local Government have passed a vote of confidence on Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, saying his visionary leadership has brought about peace, stability, progress and prosperity in the state.
Rising from a meeting held at the Ututu Country home of Dr. Philips Nto, the Provost of Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu, the political leaders expressed absolute confidence in the leadership of Governor Ikpeazu both at state and party levels.
They explained that the meeting was principally convened to fashion out means of conducting peaceful and acceptable congresses in the LGA in line with the directive of the Governor.
The meeting which was attended by the Provost of ASCETA, Dr. Nto, Commissioner for Special Duties, Chief J.J. Okoro, former Commissioner Gabe Igboko, Political Adviser to the Governor, Elder Amah Abraham and Hon. Obinna Nwankwo among others, noted with satisfaction the desire of the Governor for the congress to be equitable and fair.
They also commended the Governor for reappointing Dr. Nto as the Provost of ASCETA and other earlier appointments to sons and daughters of Arochukwu Local Government Area.
They pledged their loyalty to Governor Ikpeazu and assured him that they would do everything humanly possible to ensure the success of his administration.
