CONTINUATION OF PRECIOUS KIDS EDUCATION EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME SCHOOL TOURS

Preceding the Precious Kids Education Empowerment program tour of primary schools across the length and breadth of God’s Own State, in collaboration with the astute Abia state Government, in other to give our schools a facelift, as well as provide requisite learning tools to enhance learning and make it a pleasurable experience for our wards, saw the train to Tenant road primary school, Aba in Aba South LGA and Community primary school, Nenu, Obingwa LGA.
On arrival at tenant road primary school, the Education Secretary Mrs. Ngozi Nwaogwugwu and the Headmistress Mrs Grace Ikoro alongside other teachers gave the crew a rousing welcome.
The library was equipped with new books and also rearranged to ensure qualitative learning for the wards.
Computer sets which were donated to the school authority was also installed.
Recreational facilities were installed, carpets and chairs were also procured. Generally, the classrooms and the school wore a new look.The NGO offered scholarships to Four pupils magnanimously.
The second school visited was Community primary school Nenu. Some structures were in a deplorable state, the PTA chairman of the school, Evangelist Nwosu Ikeokwu, bemoaned the dearth of facilities in the school, saying that they are appreciative and thankful to the NGO for coming to their aid.
After inspection, the team proceeded to the palace of the Traditional ruler of the community, His Royal Majesty, Eze (Senator) Nguma Iroegbu, Enu 1of Nenu autonomous who gave the august visitors a warm welcome and thanked the NGO for remembering the community, nay the school and giving some of their wards scholarships, maintaining that his people are friendly and hospitable.
He was specifically thankful to the president of the NGO Mrs. Vivian Peters and his foreign counterparts for coming all the way from Australia and other parts of the world to his community.
The traditional ruler conferred Chieftaincy titles to two officials, Miss Lyan Love and Mrs. Tina Reynolds of the NGO for their philanthropic disposition and fear of God inherent in them.
The tour continues today to other LGAs.
