The free JAMB registration organized by the Each One Aid One Foundation for prospective candidates of Abia origin has commenced in Osisioma Ngwa LGA.
Addressing the beneficiaries, the Coordinator of the Each One Aid One Foundation Education Outreach, Mr. Smith Chukwuma John told them that Free JAMB registration was one of the Foundation’s Outreaches aimed at alleviating poverty in the land.
He informed that the Foundation would offset the cost of JAMB and CBT registration for each of them captured in the platform noting that anyone who passed and gained admission into any Nigerian Universities would have the opportunity to apply for the scholarship scheme of Foundation.
Mr Smith, who described Education as the key to the development of any society charged the candidates to reciprocate the kind gesture of the Founder, Engr Enyinnaya Nwafor by working hard to pass the JAMB exam and ensure they do well in all their academic pursuit.
Speaking to ABIA ONLINE in an interview, some of the beneficiaries including Miss Kindness Ugochinyere, Masters Augustine Christian Chiedozie and Chiehuka Prince Godswill as well as Miss Blessing Onyinyechi Okwudiri and Chioma Princess Nweze, who expressed excitement at the show of love extended to them by the Foundation, appreciated the Founder, Engr. Nwafor for reigniting their hope in tertiary education.
They promised to do all they could not only to pass their JAMB but also work hard to secure admission and possibly benefit from the Foundation’s scholarship scheme.
Also speaking in solidarity with the Foundation, Supervisory Counselor for Education for Osisioma Ngwa LGA, Hon. Evo Laz Maduabuchi, who praised the effort of Each One Aid One Foundation in alleviating poverty in the State called on the benefitting students to reciprocate this kindness by taking thier studies very seriously.
ABIA ONLINE gathered that the process was very smooth as candidates were asked to use their Sim card to generate their unique profile code through which the Foundation pays for their JAMB registration.
