It is inspiring that the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has accorded much priority and Importance to the education sector, having realised its contribution to the State’s growth and advancement.
The Abia state College of Education Technical, today on the occasion of her 10th Matriculation ceremony formally conferred on Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu ,the Visitor of the Institution. This is not surprising, considering Governor Ikpeazu’s blueprint in the Institution and Abia education sector generally.
It could be recalled that in no distant time past, Governor Ikpeazu slashed the institution’s students fees from #50,000 to #35,000, payable up to six installments of #5000 each.
Certainly, there is no better way to spur students cum alleviate their parents hardship than these. .
Also worthy of note is the fact that the institution runs four year degree program in some courses via affiliation with the Michael Okpara university of Agriculture, Umudike.
This among other honours and awards given to the Governor is earned on the alter of dint of hardwork and the exceptional performance of Governor Ikpeazu, it is therefore well deserved and applaudable.
