EXPOSING KIDNAPPERS AND HOODLUMS ATTRACTS 1M NAIRA REWARD – Governor Ikpeazu.

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has pledged a handsome reward of 1m Naira to any individual that unearths information leading to the arrest of any kidnapper in the state.
Governor Ikpeazu also promised to give a financial gratification of 1m Naira to any police officer or any team that successfully closes up and apprehends any person found culpable of kidnapping.
The Governor made these pledges on the occasion of addressing a press conference at Government House, Umuahia this morning. He expressed dissatisfaction at the recent resurgence of kidnapping in Aba, and vowed to synergize with the security outfits to stem the tide.
He maintained that he will provide the security architecture with all institutional assistance available to the government to equip and strengthen them to battle these kidnappers and assured that government will not relax and watch any part of the State taken over by hoodlums and criminals.
Governor Ikpeazu, expressed his grief over the accident that occurred at Ogbor-Hill bridge, which was reported happened as result of the activities of some revenue collecting agents.
Governor Ikpeazu, strongly stated, that the life of every Abian, is worth more than revenue and said, if it means outlawing collection of flying revenue, to ensure the safety of lives of our people(Abians), the State government under his watch will not hesitate to do so.
