In the face of an action packed administration, such as Abia’s under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, which has seen an infrastructural renaissance across the length and breadth of the State.
Much, incontrovertibly, will be attained with a harmonious relationship with the government at the centre. It is in this light that the Abia state Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu will lead a delegation to hold a very strategic meeting on economic development of the State with the AG President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and key ministers, heads of relevant federal MDA’s at the presidential villa today.
With a burning desire to fast track the development of our dear State, Governor Ikpeazu has been a bridge builder not minding the political canopy, the intent being to attract development partners for Abia’s betterment.
It is unarguable that development is not attained in a vacuum, hence today’s meeting will not only reassure the AG President of Abia’s support for the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led government, it will serve as a veritable platform to solicit for the Federal Government’s assistance in tackling Abia’s challenges amongst other beneficial issues.
It is heartwarming, that the AG. President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was in Abia recently where he commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s giant strides in development and promotion of our indigenous products, through the “Made in Aba ” campaign, it is no longer news that Abians ingenuity and entrepreneurial prowess know no bounds, and as such, there are challenges holding us to jugular that need Federal government’s prompt attention. This among other meetings have been yielding positively from the backdrop of investments and developmental partners trooping to the State.
This is an ample opportunity to shower encomiums on Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for creating an enabling climate in Abia that lately made us the beautiful bride in the nation, for national and international conferences cum investments.
The AG. President, considering his positive posture towards development , is believed will assist Abia’s developmental experience under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu watch.
