GOVERNOR IKPEAZU’S CAMPAIGN RALLY STORMS UMUNNEOCHI, RECEIVES HUNDREDS OF OPPOSITION PARTY MEMBERS

The campaign trail of the PDP has stormed Umunneochi LGA where hundreds of opposition party members defected to PDP in solidarity with Governor Ikpeazu.
Speaking at the rally ground, the Governor urged the people of Umunneochi LGA to stand for justice and equity by identifying with his reelection bid. He charged the people to make good use of their permanent voters card and vote the PDP for better Nigeria. Governor Ikpeazu assured the defectors that all their rights and privileges will be extended to them.
Speaking separately, the candidates for Abia North senatorial zone,Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, candidate for Umunneochi/Isuikwuato federal Constituency, Chief Jude Udeachara and that of Umunneochi State Constituency, Chief Okey Igwe assured that Umunneochi is for PDP. They said that PDP has favoured Umunneochi LGA, hence stressed the need for all to vote for PDP.
Making speeches, the State PDP Chairman Chief Johnson Onuigbo and the coordinator PDP campaign Council in Umunneochi LGA, Chief Dan Okoli in line with the the Abia charter of equity, said that Governor Ikpeazu should be supported to complete his eight years tenure.
