Honour for exceptional achievements are within the reach of a leader only when he stands tall on a foundation of personal integrity, hard work and unwavering determination. This is the case of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu’s whose purpose-driven leadership style has attracted accolades and great honour from within and beyond.
Recently, Governor Ikpeazu was presented with an award of ‘Nehemiah of Abia and the Best Governor of the State since 1999’ by
Christian Youth Leaders Assembly(CYLA) during their youth rally and grand reception in honour of the Governor. This event refers to the tribute, respect, and acknowledgment to be shown to a leader in the body of Christ, recorded in the Bible in the book of Acts 23:5, Romans 13:1 and 1 Peter 2:17 respectively.
Governor Ikpeazu has not only portrayed that hard work and dedication remains the bedrock of every great achievement, but also that the roots of true achievements lie in the will to become the best you can become. Out of little he has achieved much, he has made the difference by employing the elements of good governance; participation, consensus oriented, accountability, transparency, responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and inclusive, which are characteristics in championing of good and strategic political exploits and business of today.
Let all therefore, join hands and say in one voice that “nke anyi ji ka”. We will hold unto what we already have, we will reelect Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D to complete the transformation he has started in Abia State.
