IKWUANO T.C CHAIRMAN APPOINTS 61 YOUTH LEADERS AS PERSONAL AIDES, VOWS TO PAY THEM WITH PERSONAL FUNDS

In a bid to carry youths along in the Governor Ikpeazu led administraion in Abia State, the T.C Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Barr. Stanley Ojigbo has appointed 61 youth leaders in Ikwuano as his personal aids with a promise to be paying their stipends with his personal funds.

The appointees are made up of 57 Youth Presidents of all the villages in Ikwuano and 4 youths who are Youth Coordinators in the 4 clans of Ikwuano Local Government Area

The LG Chairman, Barr. Stanley Ojigbo gave the cheering news in a meeting he held recently with the Youth Presidents and clans’ youth coordinators from various communities in Ikwuano. He urged the youths sustain their support to the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu led administraion in the State as well as remain law abiding citizens of Nigeria. He equally called on them to continue to be worthy ambassadors in their respective villages even as he charged them to come up with proposals on how to raise the Internally Generated Revenue of the LGA as it concerns their respective villages.

Barr. Ojigbo expressed joy that Ikwuano LGA has remained peaceful and secured and attributed the peace and security today in the Council to God’s grace and the synergy he has with the security agencies and the youths in the LGA and promised to continue to work with the security men and youths in the Council to sustain peace with Akwa Ibom neighbours, especially now that the farming season is around the corner even as he vowed to continue to offer enduring and effective leadership in Ikwuano LGA. He urged other people in leadership position to carry the youths along in the scheme of things

Barr. Ojigbo, who congratulated the 61 youths on their appointments assured the youths of his resolve to work continuously with them and take the Council to heights.

In a vote of thanks, the President, Ikwuano Youths Forum, Mr. Santiago Agomuo lauded the council boss for carrying the youths along in the scheme of things and for appointing the youth leaders as his personal aids.

The Youth President gave assurances of the continuous support of Ikwuano youths to his administration. He said they would continue to work with him for the development of the Council.

Mr. Agomuo commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for appointing a youth friendly leader as their T.C Chairman and pledged to sustain their support to the State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu in ensuring that he succeeds in office.

The meeting attracted the presence of the Deputy T.C Chairman of Ikwuano LGA, Pastor Ekeleme Ikeije, Secretary to the Council, Mrs Chinyere Obioma and the Chief of Staff to Chairman, Barr Nereus Obia among others and featured featured prayers for the Council boss as well as the entire Local Government Area.
