A mammoth crowd of Abians has received the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu at the Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri as the Governor returns to the State in celebration of Appeal Court electoral victory.
Speaking at the Airport, Governor Ikpeazu vowed to redouble his efforts
in the development of Abia State.
He appreciated God for giving him victory over the APGA Governorship candidate, Maazi Alex Otti at the Appeal court. He used the opportunity to extend his olive branch to all well meaning Abians to join hands in the development of the the State.
Governor Ikpeazu thanked Abians for trooping out en masse to celebrate with him and said that his trip to China and South Africa was to solicit for support and assistance that would help in the realization of Enyimba Economic City project and others.
The crowd equally joined the Governor to Seventh Day Adventist Church, Umuobiakwa where the Governor attended a brief Thanksgiving Service in celebration of the Appeal Court victory and rededicated himself to the services of God and man.
