“Mádù èjíghí éjī nsòm nsòmányá lóó ágùbā.” – Ngwa adage

Most times, I find expression in creative designs and painting a powerful tool to distinctive exhibition of the true characters, motives, and sentiments behind individuals’ deeds. In this case of abduction, torture, and framing up of citizen Felix Obisike the picture has become even clearer with so many unfolding revelations that motivated the heinous, abominable, detestable and unpardonable act.

It is no longer news that the factional APC Governorship candidate in Abia State, Mr Uche Ogah and his men abducted and tortured an innocent citizen of Nigeria and a promising young N-Power beneficiary from Ngwa extraction of Abia State. However, the story behind the news is the revelation of the man behind the abduction of Mr. Felix Obisike. It has been revealed that Uche Ogah’s lawyer, Mr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani from Ikwuano was behind the entire hatched man business of kidnapping and torturing up of the young promising Ngwa youth, an action that is aimed at challenging the Ukwa-Ngwa man, that he cannot have any opinion in the governance of the State, where all of us are stakeholders.

The lawyer, Mr. Monday by the directives and order of the already failed factional governorship candidate of the APC didn’t just stop at maltreating this innocent Nigerian but went ahead to doctor a video which was widely published online, with a view to discredit the performing Governor of Abia State. Thank God the Police has come out to confirm that nobody was arrested for possessing INEC result sheet, rather, that such video only existed in the internet. Also, the INEC as a body has equally made it public that such document does not exist, informing that the INEC  does not type its election results and refuted such claims.

A critical review of the purported video shared online by the campaign organization of Uche Ogah reveals the voice of the lawyer, who was in the torturing centre. He ensured that Felix Obisike admitted to own the written fake election result of the aborted Presidential and National Assembly elections planned for February 16, 2019.
Also the published purported INEC result sheet shows that the entries were typed out as against the usual practice of writing out results in long hands, with ink. Abia people deserve to know the truth and appreciate the fact that both Uche Ogah and his lawyer, the mastermind of the torture should be seen as enemies of justice, equity and fairness and should be made to face the full weight of the law, for such act of wickedness and man inhumanity against a promising young man.

One needs to know that first of all, N-power Social Investment Scheme, where Mr. Felix Obisike belongs to is a federal government programme anchored by the office of the Special Adviser to the President on Social Investment, Mrs Maryam Uwais. The office works with Mr. Chinenye Nwogu, who is the Abia State Focal Person on Social Investment Programmes. Mr Felix Obisike is a volunteer beneficiary who is working with a handful of volunteers in the state N-power office. So, when beneficiaries of N-Power Programme in Abia State received bulk SMS purportedly sent from the office of Mrs Uwais, inviting them to a meeting at the Campaign Office of Uche Ogah in Umuahia on the 15th of February, 2019, the focal Person in the State forwarded the message to Mrs Uwais to verify the authenticity of the message. Mrs. Uwais responded that the message did not emanate from her or the presidency. On that basis, Mr Chinenye Nwogu instructed Mr. Obisike, who works with him to send messages to the beneficiaries for them to ignore the invitation.

It is the counter message sent by Felix that irked the Uche Ogah’s team who identified a friend of his(Felix) in attendance, brutalized and tortured him before using his phone to call Felix and lured him to come to a location near the Uche Ogah Campaign Headquarters to pick his friend up in his car. It is on the arrival at the location that armed men from Uche Ogah’s campaign office pounced on Felix, dragged him into their office and brutalized him mercilessly in the presence of a handful of online media persons who apparently were already positioned at the office to witness the unfolding nefarious act. They went to Felix’s car without him and took an official file belonging to his boss (Mr Chinenye Nwogu) which he was supposed to deliver in Aba same day and planted the FAKE result sheet inside the file, which the Ikwuano born Uche Ogah’s lawyer forced him(Felix) to accept under duress that it is part of his documents.
It is equally imperative to state clearly that Mr Chinenye Nwogu was the person that informed the Abia State office of the Department of State Services (DSS) to move in and rescue Felix, having been alerted of the development. Of course, Felix is currently in the protective custody of the DSS where he is receiving medical attention. Unfortunately however, nobody in the Uche Ogah Campaign Office has been arrested or invited for questioning as at now.

It is obvious that Uche Ogah who came out to contest against an Ukwa-Ngwa incumbent Governor, even with the full knowledge that it is the turn of Ukwa-Ngwa man to lead Abia, is an outright disdain and disregard of the Ukwa-Ngwa people and should not be tolerated. His decision to deal with an Ukwa-Ngwa youth in his campaign office through the assistance of his lawyer and other accomplices as well as his plots to tarnish the image of Governor Ikpeazu is actually blazing attacks and insult on the Ukwa-Ngwa people

Uche Ogah knows very well that he cannot get even a single vote from the nine Local Government Areas of Ukwa-Ngwa for obvious reasons; Governor Ikpeazu is a worthy son of Ukwa-Ngwa and has performed beyond expectations. Apart from that, Uche Ogah has portrayed his disdain
on Ukwa-Ngwa people and Ukwa-Ngwa youth by using his lawyer to abduct, torture, and frame-up Mr. Felix Obisike in his campaign office at No. 1 Item Street, Umuahia.

As we await the arrest and consequent trial of Uche Ogah, Mr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, his lawyer and all those involved in the dastardly act by the relevant authorities, Abians should note that Uche Ogah and his team of failed political jobbers do not mean well for Abia State. Abians should be careful not to support kidnappers and those who turn their office to emergency police and torture station. It means, if they are allowed to succeed in militarizing the State  and employing touts and unlicensed armed men taking over power, God forbid! Abia State would be in trouble.

All Abians of goodwill, especially the people of Ukwa-Ngwa should stand on their feet and defend the equity the people of the State have extended to them (Ukwa-Ngwa) and particularly, Abia South. They should defend their son, Felix, who would have been murdered if not for God’s Grace.

There have been repeated claims of  deploying “federal might” by the APC in the State to win elections in Abia State. By their plots, they want to destroy the Abia Charter of Equity and cheat the people of Abia South. So, the good people of Abia State should stand their grounds and ensure that Uche Ogah does not succeed with his destructive ploy. All sections or groups in Abia State; the political class, pro-groups, youth groups, market women, the town union executive and president generals, the churches, the traditional rulers among others are challenged to reject Uche Ogah and his cohorts and throw their support behind the progressive and workaholic Governor of Abia State, who is determined to make Abia better in the next four years.

There are reasons to support Okezie Ikpeazu Ph.D to continue in the service to his people of Abia State. Under the watch of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Abia State has maintained its status as one of the most peaceful state in Nigeria with the government working harmoniously with the federal government to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of the state. Governor Ikpeazu has won various local and international awards for his developmental strides in the State. Even the APC-led Federal Government has recognized Governor Ikpeazu’s prowess and given him
an award as the BEST STATE GOVERNOR in MSME development.
Governor Ikpeazu has fixed roads, revolutionalized agriculture, promoted  ‘Made in Aba’ products and is bringing the first ever free export zone in the State and South East entirely; the Enyimba Economic City, which would provide more than 700 thousand jobs for the people.

Of course, no sane voter would support APC. The reason is not far-fetched, APC brought Python Dance that eliminated lives of our youths, APC has allowed herdsmen to kill as many as they desire without arrest nor trial, has maintained lies. Non of their promises has been fulfilled.

Let us stand for truth!
Let us stand for Justice!
Let us stand for fairness!
Let us stand for equity!
Let us stand for capability!
Let us stand for performance!
Let us stand for experience!
Let us stand for PDP!
Let us stand for Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D!

UNU,
