2 dead as soldiers, Boko Haram terrorists exchange bullets in Borno

Troops of 3 Battalion on operation LAFIYA DOLE, Friday, successfully repelled Boko Haram terrorists’ attack at Ngamboru Ngala, Borno State.
One Boko Haram terrorist was killed during the encounter, while other members of the group fled following a superior fire power from the troops.
Texas Chukwu, Army’s Director of Information, said one soldier lost his life during the attack.
According to him, “Among items recovered include: one Rocket Propelled Gun 7 tube, one Anti Aircraft Gun, 2 AK 47 Rifles, 2 Empty Magazines.
“The public is hereby reminded to always cooperate with the troops by providing useful and timely information.”
