Represented by her personal physician, Dr. Suzzy Nwachukwu, Mrs. Ikpeazu said that lack of funds should not be a reason to deny people access to quality health care, noting that it has always been her desire to see that Abians are in good health.
“It is sad to see that over 29 patients who has been discharged, could not go home due to their inability to pay their hospital bills,” she said.
The wife of the Governor who explained that her quick response upon getting the wind of the plight of these people, goes to show her love for Abians, prayed God to give her the grace to do more.
Responding, one of the beneficiaries, Ngozi Kalu thanked the wife of the Governor for coming to their aid and prayed God to give her the grace to continue this show of love.
