Use of roads for abandoned vehicles, Car wash, Workshops..No longer tolerated in Abia -TIMAAS warns.

Recently, the Traffic and Indiscipline Management Agency of Abia State (TIMAAS) impounded some vehicles illegally parked on some major streets in Aba metropolis.
Consequent upon that action, the agency has called on owners of the abandoned vehicles towed from the newly constructed Echefu road, Aba to come for their retrieval.

In a press statement released by the Deputy General Manager of TIMAAS, Commander Bright Chinedu-Ikeokwu, the agency advised the owners of the seized vehicles to come to TIMAAS office at Obingwa Town Planning Complex, Obikabia by Ukaegbu Road, Ogbor Hill, Aba.
Commander Chinedu-Ikeokwu also advised such owners to come armed with proofs of ownership to facilitate collection.
The statement also warned that the use of roads for abandoned vehicles, mechanic garages and car wash would no longer be tolerated as more punitive action would be meted to future offenders.
He has also severally warned against turning roads in the city to workshops by artisans which were not complied with, and leading to the eventual impounding of the abandoned vehicles.
