Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has said that his team are in good shape as they prepare to welcome Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to Anfield in Wednesday’s Champions League.
Klopp believes that his side are heading into their Champions League quarter finals’ first leg clash with City full of confidence after their victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday in the Premier League.

Klopp’s men came from a goal down to win 2-1 against Palace, thanks to second half strikes from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah at Selhurst Park.
The victory kept the Reds in third position in the league table as they bid to try and finish in the top four this season and book their place in next season’s Champions League.
Speaking at his post-match news conference at the weekend, Klopp said the match against City will be very difficult, adding that the Reds have no big advantage over the Premier League leaders.
Klopp said: “In the moment, nobody should be worried about our mood.

“The boys are really on fire, I like that, but I know as a football professional you always have to deliver, deliver and deliver.
“We really took back [players] from completely different countries and time zones, then you have two days – or one-and-a-half – to be prepared.
“Then you saw physically we were not at our best today and you need all what you have to beat Crystal Palace. You have to fight, we fought and I am really happy about it.
“We didn’t play the best football we can play, no problem with that but it helps, especially in the Premier League.

“It will still be very difficult against Manchester City. I don’t think it gives us a big advantage against them, but no problem with that.
“We will be excited about the opportunity to play City in a quarter-final early enough, but in the moment we are still enjoying this result.”
Meanwhile, Manchester City warmed up for their trip to Anfield by beating Everton 3-1 on Saturday evening leaving them just one win from securing the Premier League title.
