Youth empowerment is a key element to ensuring a secured and better future for the leaders of tomorrow. The prevalence of youth empowerment programmes under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s administration is no more a story to be told, but the need for empirical evidence to support the relationships between programme activities and empowerment outcomes have spurred the manager of Abia Online, in alignment with Governor Ikpeazu’s vision for youths empowerment, to key into uncommon youth empowerment programmes.
Apart from the Abia Online Selfie (#AbiaOnlineSelfie) competition which the first set of winners were handsomely rewarded with the second set to be rewarded very soon, the Abia Online, through the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Mr. Ubani Newman Ubani, will yet, in another occasion of Abia Brain Facio Grand-finale, reward winners of the ‘Digital Education Essay’ competition with Brand New Laptops today the 22nd June 2018, at Micheal Okpara auditorium, Government House, Umuahia.
Digital Education is an essay writing competition topic organized by Look Africa and sponsored by Abia Online through the office of Mr. Ubani. The competition has been going on for several months now in various secondary schools in Abia State. The students, who took part in the competition, have passed through the first and second screening stages with the last to take place todayat the grand-finale.
This is our way of supporting the revolutionary transformation the present Abia government has embarked on in the Abia education sector and beyond.
We hereby invite all our fans and well wishers to come and share this life-defining moment with us tomorrow at Micheal Okpara auditorium, as we honour the winners after the grand finale with their rewards.
