ABIA MAJORITY LEADER REITERATES SUPPORT FOR IKPEAZU’S SECOND TERM, CALLS FOR MASSIVE VOTES FOR PDP

Ahead of the forthcoming elections in Nigeria, the Majority leader, Abia House of Assembly, Chief Chinedum Orji (Ikukuoma Abia) has reiterated the need for all ‘to support Governor Ikpeazu’s second term in office.
Chief Orji was speaking as the chief launcher of the book, “What A Billionaire Told A Poor Man” written by Chief Patrick Anyatonwu at Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia. He maintained that Abia North and Central zones had governed Abia for eight years respectively and so, Abia South should be allowed to complete its own tenure. He called on all to vote for PDP in the elections, saying it is the only way to move forward in the State.
The Majority leader equally supported the author of the book by purchasing 50 copies each to the four tertiary institutions in the State, which includes; ABSU, MOUAU, Abia State Polytechnic and College of Education (Technical) Arochukwu.
In his speech, Abia Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu said the book should be made compulsory for all students of entrepreneurship studies in tertiary institutions in Abia State. He said the book should be made available to all institutions of higher learning in the State to assist the youths understand the principles of success.
The Governor appreciated the author, who doubles as the Director General, Abia Mass Mobilization Agency, Chief Patrick Anyatonwu for the work he described as a ‘master piece’. According to the Governor, the book contains the needed principles for achieving success in life and stressed the need for patience, perseverance, hard work amongst others. He made cash donations for the book launched and recommended the book for everyone.
Earlier the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Uzoma Ihuka and the book reviewer, Chief Chibuike Onyendilefu saluted the author’s courage in writing the 134 paged book which was dedicated to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and said the book is a window into what the Governor is preaching in Abia State, where he is encouraging the ‘can do spirit’ of the Abia man.
They described the author as a gift to Ngwa land, Abia and Nigeria at large, adding that the book would help instill perseverance and hard work among the youths.
