As comments trail the planned establishment of ‘Ruga’ settlements by the Federal Government (FG) in three Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Benue state, President Muhammadu Buhari has been accused of fueling ethnicity as well as fueling social and economic discrimination in the country.
Executive Secretary (ES) Teaching Service Board (TSB), in the state, Prof Wilfred Uji said the directive issued by the FG through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, smacks of an Executive Order.
He, however, said that despite what has happened “any responsible and responsive” leadership would retrace its steps and use other democratic processes in resolving the crisis that the directive has already caused.
