Wife of the Speaker Of Abia State House Of Assembly, Dr. Mrs. Onyinyechi Orji has paid a new year visit to Abia Specialist Hospital and Diagnostic Centre Aba road and Amachara Umuahia and paid the bills of the indigent patients.
Dr. Mrs.Orji expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the knowledge and wisdom given her to start the charity visitation and to start from the same hospital where she practised as a Medical Doctor for 8years.
She applauded the Chief Medical Director and the entire staff of Abia Specialist Hospital Umuahia for the effective management of the hospital.
Receiving the wife of the Speaker, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the hospital, Dr. Enwereji Jamike, who conducted round the entire wards of the hospital outlined some the challenges facing the hospital including the health of women during pregnancy and delivery.
He thanked the Governor, Dr. Victor Okezie Ikeapzu and the Speaker Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Orji for their effort and support in piloting the affairs of the state and that of the Abia House of Assembly.
He further noted that he has ensured that pregnant women deliver safely and patients are properly taken care of in Abia specialist Hospital Umuahia.
The wife of the Speaker was accompanied on the tour by the wife of the Member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Mrs. Ugochi Onwusibe, the wife of the member representing Obingwa West State Constituency, Barr. Mrs. Chioma Nkoro, the wife of the member representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Barr. Mrs. Uzosike, the wife of the member representing Osisioma South State Constituency, Mrs. Regal Allen Nwachukwu and the wife of the Clerk, Lady Mrs. Mary Johnpedro.
