The National President, Abia State National Association of North America, Chibuzor Ngwakwe, has been conferred with the chieftaincy title by Mgboko Oria Efula Autonomous Community Obingwa LGA.

Conferring the title of Agburuike I of Mgboko Oria Efula on Ngwakwe, the traditional ruler of the Community, HRH Eze Ngozi Mathias Nwoko, who recalled his first meeting with Chief Ngwakwe, noted that the chieftaincy title was in recognition of the good works Agburuike has been doing not only in his home town, Agburuike but his overall contributions to the development of Obingwa LGA.

Eze Nwoko charged him not to relent in his efforts at promoting the cause of his Community, Obingwa and Abia State at large urging him to keep up the good virtues that earned him the honour.

Speaking while presenting him for the conferment, Chief Nna Nwoko, who paid glowing tributes about Agburuike disclosed that because of his love for his Community, the name Agburuike has become a household name both in Nigeria and the United States of America where he resides.

He informed that Chief Ngwakwe’s good works speak volumes of the kind of person he is noting that he would not hasitate in recommending him for any title conferral as that would be befitting of him.

Responding, Chief Chibuzor Ngwakwe, who disclosed that that would be the first time he would be accepting any conferment of any title, said he felt highly honoured for the recognition.

He thanked the Eze and the entire people of Mgboko Oria Efula Autonomous Community for the honour done him and promised to continue to do more for the emancipation of the people of his Community.

In an interview with ABIA ONLINE, Chief Chibuzor Ngwakwe who expressed surprise that his little contributions in Community development was recognized and rewarded maintained that he was more motivated now than ever before to continue in doing what he knows best, which is reaching out to people in anyway.

In his advice to the well to do in the society, Chief Ngwakwe has this to say:

“Men and women are beginning to understand that the things that you hide do not benefit you, I think the more you learn to give and help the development of your Community, the better your wealth is enjoyed. I believe that God gave us some of these things for us to share them with people. That’s what I encourage anyone who has an extra and sometimes you don’t even need to wait until you have an extra.

Whatever little you have, whatever lending hand that you can, in any form or shape, especially in our communities where there is that much need, that is what I will encourage people that they continue to do.”
