The Wife of the Governor of Abia State, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, is calling on all Abia Women to join in a One-Day fasting and prayer session to seek God’s intervention for peace, security and protection in the face of recent events that have caused turmoil in the country and brought about loss of lives and property.

Chief Press Secretary to the Wife of the Governor, said the prayer and fasting session will take place on Thursday 29th of October 2020.
“To this end, all women resident in Abia State and in diaspora are enjoined to fast and pray from the hour of 6 o’clock in the morning of Thursday 29th of October to 12 noon same day,” the release said.
It added that the concluding session of the prayers and fasting will be a live broadcast of on all radio stations across the state by 11.45 am.
The release called on those all to join the concluding session by tuning to the following radio stations: BCA Radio 88.1 FM Umuahia,
Vision Africa 104.1 Umuahia, FLO FM 94.9 Umuahia, REAL FM Radio 99.1 Aba
The release enjoined everyone to come together and pray for peace in our land and commit Abia State to the continued protection of God at these times.
