The first edition of Aba Fashion Week opened yesterday at the Sugarland City, Aba with a lot of enthusiastic Made in Aba Fashion Entrepreneurs showcasing their work and brands.
Speaking with ABIA ONLINE crew, some of the Fashion Entrepreneurs said they were excited to witness the first edition of the Aba Fashion Week which they said have enabled them to showcase their brands and work to the global community.
Among those who spoke to us, was Mr. Okechukwu Daniel Agbai, who makes fashion accessories for men as well as Miss Victory Ubani of Ria Bani collections.
They expressed their excitement being among the first participants to the Fashion Week having already been passionate about everything made in Aba.
Miss Ubani particularly admitted that the week would expose her to the global space and hopefully get her more financial support from both Government and private individuals to enable them expand their business with more wider coverage.
While thanking the organizers for coming up with such an idea, the first of its kind in Aba, they called for it to be made a regular occurrence so as to help many other Fashion Entrepreneurs get more exposed for wider coverage.
ABIA ONLINE gathered that the Fashion Week will hold from December 7th to 11th and would witness a whole lot of shows on display.
