Abia State Government has warned that it will take decisive action against any hospital that refuses to attend to any sick person brought to the hospital insisting that it will not take it lightly with any hospital where such action leads to the loss of life of any Abian or resident.
The Secretary to Abia state Government, Barr. Chris Ezem gave warning in release said that attention of the State Government has been drawn to effect that hospitals are refusing to attend to sick persons who approach their hospital.
According to Ezem, every illness must not be viewed as a coronavirus case until after thorough medical investigation by the Medical Protocol Team in charge of same.
He warned all hospitals and medical experts to desist from such unprofessional conduct as Government requests that any such case should be reported to the office of the Secretary to the State Government for necessary action.
