An interdenominational service has been held by Abia government in commemoration of 2018 Democracy Day and third anniversary of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as the Abia State Governor.
In his address at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, the Governor of the State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu said there is no better way to celebrate an anniversary is through thanksgiving to God.
He recalled all the troubles and travails that accompanied his decision to run for Governorship and lead the State. The Governor thanked God for peace and tranquility in all segments of the State.
Delivering a sermon, Apostle Abraham said Abia State has reasons to thanked God for yet another Democracy Day under the leadership of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. The man of God prophesied thát Abia State shall be great under the leadership of Governor, to the level that people would long to come to the State.
The interdenominational service took time to offer prayers to God on behalf of the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the State government and the entire Nigeria.
