Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has commiserated with Bishop Ndukwe Onuoha over the demise of his father in-law, late Elder Evangelist Osoka Kalu Osoka .
Speaking during the funeral at Methodist Church Nigeria, Amokwe – Item in Bende Local Government Area , the Governor described death as a mystery which no one can comprehend.

He enjoined the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that late Elder Osonka lived well and left legacies in the sands of time.
According to the Governor, the loss of late Elder Osoka was not only a loss to the immediate family or Bende LGA but the entire Abia State. He assured them of the hope of eternal life for those who serve God.
Contributing, the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo urged Bishop Ndukwe Onuoha and other bereaved members to take heart as death is inevitable.

C.A Iweha challenged all and sundry to live with eternity in focus, saying that everyone would give account of himself to God Almighty on the judgment day. He encouraged believers not to mourn like those without hope, maintaining that, for every believer in Christ, there is hope of glory, even after death.
In a funeral oration, the first son of the deceased, Mr. Uchenna Osoka thanked the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and other dignitaries for condoling with them.
He described his late father as a man with unending love, good teacher and disciplinarian, adding that they would miss him greatly.
